5 on Friday- Etsy, ATL Restaurants, New Music!

It's here it's here! And it's finally sunny again so naturally all I want to do is frolic and be in the sun.

1. THANK YOU for all of the positive feedback on yesterday's post. The emails, comments, etc. made me feel very loved. And SO many of you shared similar stories that it made me realize that this a bigger issue than just something personal. We have all got to be more respectful of each other, and this has been a really inspirational kick in the pants for me.

2. Countdown to Lauren's wedding is on....one week from tomorrow! In celebration of our single lady, we're taking her out to one of my FAVORITE ATL spots on Saturday night. Seriously, they have Prosecco, ON TAP. It's magical. If you've never been, get there stat. It's amazing, and in Midtown, which is the best neighborhood ITP and don't even try to argue with me.

3. Lilly is doing yet another hilarious "deal"- buy three Elsa shirts and get a free pair of bow earrings. I LOVE Lilly earrings, and I'm confident there's not a (female) human being alive who doesn't love an Elsa. However, three $160 shirts for a free pair of earrings is not a deal, so alas, I will probably not be taking part. If I was though, you can bet that Tusk In The Sun print would be MINE.

4. A few months ago, I ordered this adorable print for ATLBFF Mal from Simple & Serene on Etsy and I stumbled across this print the other day and, naturally, loved it. I seem to be really drawn to children's things- Muppets, Winnie the Pooh, Dr. Seuss, Harry Potter- but let's be honest. The most carefree, honest, and happy things are written for children, not jaded 27 year olds. I have been thinking a lot about taking a printmaking class, so this might be the thing that pushes me over the edge.

5. I'm not sure if we've discussed Alt-J before, (or ∆, as Mal pointed out to me) but I am absolutely loving this band right now. Concert season is ramping up, and I could not be happier about it. Mal, Julie & I are going to see Miley & Skye Ferreira in two weeks, and then going to see the Faint a few weeks later. I love spring/summer concert season!

Have an amazing weekend, all. If it's snowing where you are (looking at you Chicago friends) my studio apartment would be happy to give you a reprieve.
