It goes without saying that Nelson Mandela was an incredible man. I was actually kind of convinced that he was invincible, so I was very shocked/saddened when I heard of his death (on Twitter, naturally) this past week. As a lot of people know, my spirit animal/former employer Oprah is a HUGE Mandela fan- which, I'm sorry. If Oprah thinks highly of you, this makes you godly. This might sound like sarcasm, but it's not. I love Oprah. I love Nelson Mandela. Anyway, insider info: behind the stage of the Oprah Winfrey Show at Harpo Studios, there is a giant hallway where the greenrooms, etc. are located. I spent a lot of quality time there. Anyway, the hallway is covered with photos of Mandela, and it was nicknamed Mandela hallway. So there's you're unnecessary fact about Oprah for the day.
