Life lessons from Yoga

If you know me IRL, you know that I am recently obsessed with Yoga. I've done it for years, but only in the last 3-4 months have I become truly addicted. The best feeling in the world is leaving a class all sweaty, disgusting, and so exhausted you can barely drive. Being without a phone for 90 minutes and not having to worry about emails, texts, and phone calls is so relaxing- (until you get back to your car and have 900 things to respond). One of my co-workers and I go to the same studio and we're basically those Crossfit people in the office. Sorry guys, my Chaturangas just need some work, ok?

This morning, one of my favorite instructors opened class with a really great quote:

Being vulnerable is not something I am good at, nor enjoy. But sometimes, we have to be in order to let things happen naturally. This is a nice way of saying, "Control freaks- let go sometimes".

If you're in Atlanta, I HIGHLY recommend you check out Atlanta Hot Yoga. They have two locations, one in South Buckhead, and another in Vinings and they are wonderful. They also have an awesome $30 for 10 days starter package. You can even track classes and sign up through the MINDBODYConnect App (get it here).

 Namaste, bitches.
