Happy Monday, world! Today I woke up on the right side of the bed, if you will. I was up BEFORE my alarm, which never happens, and had time to do something that I very, very rarely do- curl my hair. It's pretty amazing that something like a good hair day can affect your mood so much, but what can I say? I'm vain.
So speaking of good hair- let's talk about Taylor Swift for a second. Love or or hate her, you have to admit she has amazing hair- nobody rocks the natural hair look better than Swifty. I read once that she highlighted like, every six months- if that, and I was briefly inspired to stop coloring. (Then I moved to the south where everyone is blonde and got a little sad, but whatever). I have spent my entire life trying to accept the fact that I am genetically destined to never have super long hair, and instead stare wistfully at the gazillion pictures of her that we all see on a daily basis.
This weekend, I read on The Gossip Blog that T chopped her hair and I'll admit- I was HORRIFIED when I heard the news. I think I actually gasped out loud, which means I should really be re-evaluating my life choices and not be so personally invested in celebrities (But I met her when I worked on Oprah- so we're basically besties, right? I'm not weird at all. It's totally acceptable for me to be offended that she didn't consult me before cutting her hair right? RIGHT?)
So anyway, I nervously clicked the link to see the pic, and it turns out it's adorable. Of course it is:
Apparently, she went for the chop right before a show in London, in her dressing room with Ellie Goulding. There's actually instavideo evidence of this. Celebrities' lives are so weird. Why does Ellie Goulding just show up at Taylor Swift shows? Why does every Ellie Goulding song sound the same? I had so many questions, but I digress. The short hair Since it's still awards season, I'm pretty interested to see how she styles this for the red carpet. I hope she keeps it for awhile, instead of going straight back to extensions. You rock that bob, girl!
And, because it's Monday and we need to start off the week with a hair-themed song (and Weezy is a little inappropriate) I brought out this gem from the archives. Thanks for existing, Slug.
Have a great week everyone! If you're interested in some more celebrity/fashion/beauty/gossip news, head on over to TheGossipBlog for your daily indulgence.

Taylor Swift has nice hair, but it's usually styled in a boring way... or it could be that I just don't like her overall lol. Who knows.
ReplyDeleteI think Blake Lively has some of the BEST hair in Hollywood. So effortless, thick, luscious and amazing.
Blake Lively's hair kills me. Have you seen those new commercials for L'oreal or whatever shampoo brand that is supposed to double the thickness of your hair? They make me so angry. Like, your shampoo is not going to give me Blake Lively hair so GTFO. Jeez. #rantover
