5 on Friday: Insanity Week

Holy hell this week has been crazy. My counterpart at work is away on her honeymoon, getting tan and looking gorgeous, so I am playing the role of three people this week. It's been awesomely busy, and has surprisingly brought me a new appreciation for my job.  It's pretty nice to go into an office full of people that I enjoy seeing everyday, and it's a good distraction from any crap that goes on in other areas of my life. Because nothing gets my pumped up better than a good song, I decided to dedicate today's 5 on Friday to awesome female singers. Girl power, kids.

1. Robyn- Don't F*cking Tell Me What To Do. Robyn will always and forever be #1 in my heart because she is the most killingest pop star on the planet. 

2. Little Boots- New in Town. You had to know half of the people on this list were going to be blonde and Scandinavian. 

3. Beyonce -Who Run the World? Because, DUH. The answer is me, in case you were wondering

4. Chvrches- Gun. Because nothing says violence quite like the voice of an innocent sounding Scot. Be forewarned, my mother's maiden name is Ferguson. There is Tartan in this blood. 

5. Miley- FU. Stop with the Miley hate peeps. Accept that she is amazing. As is this song.
