Birthday Recap!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!
I've officially been 26 for a week, and so far it's been a pretty good year! Having B in town was amazing. She arrived on Thursday night and we were ready to relax. We ordered burgers from one of my favorite spots, Yeah! Burger, and watched Sharknado (yes, it was as bad as you'd think- and I loved it).  

On Friday, I took the day off work and we hung out at the pool. ALL. DAY. It was incredible. There is nothing better than sitting in the sun, catching up with your BFF. It was some much needed girl time. Also, how adorable is this mug my aunt sent me? Perfect for pool lounging! 

 Friday night, we had to get ready to see our girl BEYONCE! BF is seriously the GREATEST, and got us suite tickets through work. After some serious road rage getting there, we skipped the line, rolled into our suite, and had a glass of wine waiting for us.

Saturday, we had an amazing dinner at another favorite spot, The Lawrence. The drinks are amazing, and I highly recommend   Some of J/BF's good friends joined us, and afterward, we ventured to Cypress Pint & Plate, a bar near our apartment.

Sunday we moved, I had to take B to the airport, and it rained. Not the greatest end to the weekend, but our new apartment is absolutely wonderful, and J and I could not be happier. For the first time in 26 years, I have a bedroom with a TV. I might never leave.

This weekend, I'm headed back to Chicago for work/to visit friends. I'm excited, but dreading the travelling. I don't know how I did this every three weeks for almost a year- I must really love J :).  Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!
