Sunday Social

Suddenly I've become a morning person, which is extremely weird for me.  But I'm starting to really enjoy waking up when the rest of the world is still in bed. The streets aren't crowded, the line at Starbucks is nonexistent, and it's not super freaking hot out yet.  This morning I got up and did my Starbucks thing, as I do virtually every weekend morning, and then sat at the pool and caught up with friends.  Since it was early, there was nobody there, and I loved every second of it.  Now it's starting to storm, and we're headed off to do more furniture shopping.  I decided to do Ashley & Neely's Sunday Social today, because why the hell not. So here goes!
1.  How did you come up with your blog name? 

Actually BF came up with it.  I was trying to think of something that wasn't cheesy and I was thinking that this blog would be a collection of all the things I find weird about the south (like jorts and madras). Now it's evolved into more of a Lifestyle blog, but I can still talk about my yankee differences. 

2. What is your favorite thing about blogging? I really like writing. It's always been an outlet for me, and it's nice to be able to do it again. I also like that my family and friends can be caught up on everything while I'm far away from them now. 

3. What is one thing you have discovered because of blogging and now can't live without? 

I don't think I will ever buy any sort of beauty product again without consulting several blog reviews to make sure it works fabulously.

4. Facebook or Twitter? and why? 
Twitter for sure.  I'm chatty, and I like the back and forth conversations. It's less of a brag fest, and more interactive.

5. If one celeb read your blog who would you want it to be? 
Ugh none. No celeb would want to read about my life!

6. What is something you want people to know about your blog?
That I seem a lot perkier via my blog than I probably am in real life. Oops.
