I'm kind of a Sephora addict. Full fledged, actually, not "kind of". You know how when some people are stressed they run? Or eat? Or talk it out? I buy makeup. If I'm having an especially stressful day and need to step out of the office, I pretty much always find myself "catching a breath of fresh air" in the Sephora that just opened in the mall by my office. True story- my coworker took me there during a borderline emotional breakdown (you know me so well Lexi!) and I immediately felt better. Until I apparently qualified for VIB Beauty Insider Status (solidifying that I have a problem, clearly), which led all of the store associates to break out into applause. Awkward turtle.
The products above are my current favorites. There are many incredible, amazing, wonderful things about Summer (basically everything), but possibly my favorite thing about summer is how easy it is to be lazy. Air dried hair and minimal makeup is actually a look- not just, "Whoops, I woke up 20 minutes before I need to be at the office".
This summer, my go-to look has been simple: Strong brows, shimmery cheeks, a touch of bronzer, and bright red nails. This Dior polish is seriously the GREATEST polish ever. I'm officially too much of a brat for Essie. And I can't sing enough praises for the Smashbox Brow Tech. I went to both Ulta and Sephora and talked to three different salespeople- all three led me to this product. I have virtually nonexistent brows, and I just want to be an Olsen twin, so this is a problem. Luckily, this color actually looks natural and is super easy to apply, and the brow gel on the other side has amazing staying powder. I personally think everyone should have ALL of the products above, but if you could only get one- get the Brow Tech. You will be prying this from my cold, dead hands.
