So you can probably tell by now that I love music. The first concert my parents ever let me attend (sans parents )was Incubus in Spokane, Washington when I was 15. They picked me up and dropped me off. It was awesome. I also owned at least three Incubus shirts from Hot Topic. We all have our demons, OK? The Make Yourself album is still one of my favorite albums of all time.
So a few Octobers back (way more than I care to think about) I was probably in 10th or 11th grade, and I happened to win a copy of their "new" album, Morning View, from a radio station,. My parents are awesome and let me skip school to drive 100 miles to pick up this album (instead of just waiting for another day for it to come out and buy it). The amount of Incubus they were forced to while I was getting my driver's license is probably unfair. Then again, I know every single Steely Dan & Doobie Brothers song ever, so maybe we're even.
Anyway, in honor of Throwback Thursday, and the fact that it's 10/24- here's a little jingle from the Morning View album. Did anyone ever figure out the significance of 10:24? Because I certainly haven't. If you know, drop me a line. Also, Brandon Boyd, if you're still single- so am I (legally).
