If I had a billion dollars

Remember when you were younger and got three months off of life every year, free to do whatever you wanted? No school, no work, no responsibility. After graduating college and realizing that worked loomed ahead of me for the next gazillion years, I was pretty bummed out. I haven't taken more than a week off since senior year of college, mostly because I'm crazy. I am constantly wishing that I could move to Europe, take two hour lunch breaks, have socialized medicine and education, and take the entire month of August off to explore a new country each year. Is that so much to ask? Sheesh. I am constantly dreaming about the day I can pack up J and the guinea pig and move to France. So when I saw today's #Blogtember topic, I knew my answer right away:

Wednesday, September 4: If you could take three months off from your current life and do anything in the world, what would you do? 

The answer? Duh, I'd go to Paris. I'd rent a beautiful apartment right on the Rue Cler, because obviously I'd have tons of money, and I'd spend my days strolling the Seine, checking out art at Montmartre, and hitting up Laudree for macarons. I'd spend weekends visiting Pau, the town where I studied abroad, and hiking in the beautiful Pyrenees mountains. And of course I would visit Bordeaux, Aix-en-Provence, and head back to the Cote d'Azure and the Riviera where I'd hang out with Jay Z and Beyonce on their yacht. And when that three months was over? I'd stay there. Because once I get back to France, I'm never leaving.
