Last week, Jennifer from Borrowed By Design, a new online platform that lets users rent formal wear to each other (similar to Rent the Runway but sourced by users) reached out to me about a fundraising event in Buckhead this weekend that I think y'all will be interested in! Borrowed By Design is sponsoring the event for Operation PROM Atlanta, an organization that raises funds and donates dresses to low income high school seniors looking for prom or homecoming attire. Since a lot of these teens aren't able to attend the event due to lack of dress, Borrowed By Design and Operation Prom are teaming up to make sure everyone can have the high school experience they deserve!
The event is this Saturday, August 17th at 2:00pm at the Atlanta Tech Village in Buckhead. There are some AMAZING food sponsors, a fashion show featuring some local beauty queens, and tons of other cool stuff going on. Their goal is to have at least 50 dresses donated. I know we ALL have a few things taking up room in our closets!
