As we all know by now, BF spent a year living in Portland, OR. The whole 2,000 miles thing was THE WORST, but (as much as I hate to admit this) I'm also really glad he did move, because we've had some really fun experiences thanks to living in different places. I think we both agree that my very first visit to Portland has been our favorite vacation so far. 4th of July is a fun time for us because it's smack in the middle of our birthdays, so it made sense to plan a trip. We decided to explore Portland for a few days, and then we drove to the coast to a little town called Newport.

This 4th of July, we are headed to the beach again, this time to the Atlantic Ocean. I'm SO excited to smell the saltwater, play in the sand, and get really, really blonde. What are your holiday plans?
