What Do You Miss?

Day 12, Sunday: What do you miss? (a person, a thing, a place, a time of your life...)

FIrst of all. I've failed in blogging every day. I skipped Friday and Saturday, in case you couldn't tell.  I was a work slave this week, that is my only excuse.

In honor of Mother's Day, I can definitely say one thing I miss a LOT is my Mom, who lives 3000 miles away.  I once told my doctor in Chicago that I called my mom every day at least once, and she looked at me like I was a lunatic.  But more than just my mom, I miss my family, which better than all families.

Speaking of Chicago, that's another thing I miss the crap out of.  Especially now that it's getting nice- I miss walking home from work on the Lakeshore path. I miss taking the bus. I miss seeing people I know everywhere. I miss Bulls games. And dear God, I MISS LAKE MICHIGAN. Give me your dirty, freezing cold water, right now! I miss my adopted hometown.

But you know one thing I FINALLY don't miss, after two very long years?  This guy. So at least there's that.
