As we all know, I've been searching for the right bathroom tray. Last week at work, one of my coworkers did a really interesting presentation on how JC Penny is rebranding (yet again) after throwing out their CEO. For one thing, now they're called JCP? Remember when KFC tried to be all, "Oh, we're Kitchen Fresh Chicken now", totally turning their backs on the state of Kentucky and trying to convince anyone that their chicken is "fresh", when, lets be real, that shit is gross. But I digress. As part of the new JCP, they're adopting the store-within-a-store method that you may have seen at Target. One of the stores within the store is Happy Chic by Jonathan Adler, and holy crap does it have some cute stuff. After a particularly disappointing Friday (I was supposed to visit family, long story, didn't happen, I am sad) I decided to find my way to JCP for some retail therapy. It wasn't until I was home that I realized the abundance of owls and shades of blue. Oopsies. I can't help it if Kappa happens to have the greatest colors and symbols. Those ladies knew trendy in 1870, clearly. Visit the JCP website to see more of this awesome collection!
